Ag. Dean's Welcome Message (Prof. Yvonne Dei-Adomakoh)

To our students, medical school is a transformative period in your lives. You will encounter challenges that test your intellect, stamina, and compassion. You will learn not only from textbooks and lectures but also from patients. This journey requires dedication, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to the well-being of others.

Our faculty, staff, and administration are here to support you every step of the way. We encourage you to take full advantage of the available resources and actively engage in your studies.

I also want to emphasize the importance of self-care and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. Medicine is a demanding field, and it is essential to take care of your physical and mental well-being. Seek support when needed, build a strong network of colleagues and mentors, and never hesitate to ask for help.

As we embark on this new academic year, I encourage you to embrace the opportunities ahead. Let us continue to foster an environment of inclusivity, innovation, and excellence.

Thank you all very much, and I look forward to a year filled with accomplishments, growth, and the strengthening of our shared mission.

Best Wishes
